Formalized in 2020, the Prince George's County Muslim Council Foundation (PGCMCF) is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to advocate on behalf of Prince George's residents with government agencies and to support the economic ambitions of the community.

Emerging County Leaders is a leading initiative of PGCMCF. It provides college students from the region with summer internships in the public policy arena at the office of elected officials, government agencies, advocacy, legal and media organizations.
