To inspire community engagement with government officials and agencies and support community efforts towards economic development.

Emerging County Leaders Program

A summer internship for Prince George's County college students aged 18-25 that have completed at least two semesters of college. Interns work full-time at designated worksites in the public arena in the areas of legislative offices, government, law, advocacy and media.

The ECL internship program provides practical experience in the public policy and advocacy arena, as well as an opportunity to establish professional relationships. In addition, participants will receive a stipend of at least $1000.
